Chroma Key studio is finished

Hey folks, the greenscreen is all installed and lit. It works well but I'm gonna skip posting a test here, I don't really want it in the iTunes feed...

i've been meaning to make a chroma key studio. is there a particular reason backlighting the green screen is a good idea? what is your green screen made of?

anyway, happened here from craigslist-- i enjoy the site

Backlighting helps avoid having extra lights on the subject to cast shadows on the screen. Backlight also cuts down on spill because the light isn't bouncing onto the subject. This allows me to sit closer to the screen and have a shallower depth of field. Less depth of field, the blurrier the screen. A blurry greenscreen is very good- fewer wrinkles, specks and spots of dirt to mess wirh my chroma key.

I used a bolt of 'forrest green' fabric from Jo-Ann. Was like $30.

Any way to tilt your camera angle?
The "TDR Bar" is pretty wide, and there's tons of air above your heads.
And any thought to a frame for the insets? Daily Show has that silver business, but you could have something evil or gross. In a good way.
